Question: getting road tax?

i have just recently took my car that was written off as class C to the VIC centre where it has passed, i want to road tax it now online but do not have the new log book yet or a road tax form, i did write down the old log book number would i be able to tax it with this or have to wait for the new one. I have got it insured and a new MOT.

Answer: I think that you may have to go to your nearest licencing centre to get a new licence. I SWORN’ed my car and had to do that to get one!

Question: Is the amount taken out of my paycheck for FICA considered federal taxes?

I’m trying to guesstimate how much my federal income tax return might be. When using a tax estimator, it asks for the federal income tax amount withheld. Is FICA included in that?

Answer: FICA is a combination of the social security tax and medicare tax and totals about 7.65% of your gross pay.

FICA has absolutely nothing to do with your federal income tax rate. Your federal income tax rate is dependent on which tax bracket you fall into.

Answer: It is mandatory to give copies of rent reciepts irrespective of the amount paid

50% (In case of Metro Residents) / 40% (In case of other residents) of the Basic Salary

I called the IRS to get a transcript of my 1040 form from 2007.

But to get financial aid, I must send my school a signed 1040 form. Is there any difference from the 1040 form I got from the IRS and the signed 1040 form?…After all, I filed my taxes online.

Answer: An IRS transcript and a signed copy of the 1040 form are not the same thing. The school should accept either if you sign them. However each year I hear stories about different schools that seem to make up the rules as they go. I always instruct clients to sign either if they are sending it to a school for financial aid. You should try the online site that you used to see if you would be able to print out a 1040 form.
