Manhattan Associates Reports First Quarter 2011 Revenue and Earnings

ATLANTA — Leading supply chain optimization provider Manhattan Associates, Inc. today reported first quarter 2011 non-GAAP adjusted diluted earnings per share of $0.41 compared to $0.40 in the first quarter of 2010, on license revenue of $7.8 million and total revenue of $71.7 million.

Question: Is Pelosi’s new tax bill hidden in an energy bill?

This bill would ban 97% of available oil off of California and put a permanently ban within 50 miles of the USA shores. This would knock out the oil available off the North Shore of Alaska. It would also knock out 90% of all known oil reserves in the USA. Hidden within this is a revised a tax code change that would put massive costs to the American people to pay for unproven alternative energy. Pelosi’s bill was introduced last night to be voted on today without House or Senate debate or discovery. Pelosi and the Dems are already saying that if blocked by the Republicans that it proves the Dems are for energy solutions and not the Republicans. My question is: How can this type of Draconian legislation be forced down the throats of the American people? Does anyone, yes anyone, believe this is the way to solve our energy problems?

And provides no incentives to states by not allowing revenue sharing with the state.

Hi, I have recently found out my department is being laid off. How much unemployment can i expect to receive while searching for my next job. Ive worked here for a little over a year and make about 2400/monthly before taxes… is it by a percentage or how to they determine how much you get? thanks

Answer: they base if off of what you made last year… let’s say you made 20k for the last year…. you would receive half of whatever your paycheck was for the year prior… in essence your salary would go from 20k to 10k

and umm… for 6 months.. no longer!

Question: What Are The Laws Regarding Offshore Banking / Merchant Accounts / Tax?

I am currently starting up an internet business. I know that there are a lot of risks when working online, especially in the area of fraud and people using stolen CC details etc.

Due to these risks I am going to signup for a High Risk Merchant Account.

This will be more leniant in the way of chargebacks and my funds wont simply get frozen if I get a few chargebacks unlike banks within the UK where there are close to none High Risk Merchant Accounts.

Is it legal to have an offshore merchant account within tax laws and simply the case of having the account?

Answer: I don’t know this type of account but it is certainly lawful to have any type of account you want, wherever you want it. Any profits in that bank account need to be included in your business accounts for tax purposes, of course.
