Tax Online Return

Tax Online Return

Question: When will I get my tax rebate if I used Turbo Tax online to file my tax return?

I used turbo tax online to file my taxes and chose to direct deposit, but the deposit went to Santa Clara Bank then to my account……when sould I expect my rebate?
My social ends in 02, so I was expecting it today, May 2nd, but it has not been deposited yet.

Answer: When the IRS deposited your refund, they deposited into the Santa Clara Bank as you noted, then that bank transferred it to your bank account, after deducting any applicable fees. That means the IRS has the Santa Clara Bank’s info, not yours, so you won’t get your rebate via direct deposit. You’ll get a paper check mailed to you.

That information is right on TurboTax’s website.

Depending on the last two digits of your SSN, here’s the schedule;
Last two SSN digits: Payments will be mailed no later than:
00 through 09 – May 16
10 through 18 – May 23
19 through 25 – May 30
26 through 38 – June 6
39 through 51 – June 13
52 through 63 – June 20
64 through 75 – June 27
76 through 87 – July 4
88 through 99 – July 11

Online Tax Preparation Jobs

Question: Any tax experts out there?

I’ve run into somewhat of a snag with my tax filing this year and I need some advice.
I started a new job January 2007 and I claimed the exact same info on my W-4 form for my new job as I did for my old job. My husband and I file jointly as a married couple and my husband has been at the same job now for 7 years and has never changed his tax filing. We usually receive roughly around a $1200 return each year. However, this year we somehow owe $215! We always use the free online TurboTax® Tax Preparation Software. We’ve triple checked ourselves and we’re stuck at this point. Does anyone have ANY idea where we might have gone wrong?

Answer: H & R block will check your return for a charge of $29 and let you know if it is okay or may need to be amended. They are right in that any changes can affect the outcome. Turbo tax is not associated with H & R Block they are 2 seperate companies. Claudeshappywife you may need to check your return this year also. Just because his daughter turned 18 doesn’t mean he cant claim her. Was she there all year? did he pay over half of her support? was she in school? If in school she would still qualify as a dependent for EIC. Also there are deductions for College Education if he paid any of her tuition & fees (even if was a loan from a bank). Good Luck Both of you.

Question: What is the best and easiest Tax Preparation Software?

My wife and I have two incomes ($170k +) Many deductions, charity work, options, stock sale at a profit, dividen income, and an office at home. We have been going to a CPA the past few years paying $200 – $300 because of all the documents which is fine, but I’d like to try it myself.

Thanks for your help.
We don’t have children (yet!)

Answer: Your tax return does not appear to be complicated. Sure you can give it a try. If it does not work, or to check if you have done it right, you can always go to your CPA.

California Tax Overhaul

California Tax Overhaul

Question: If Obamacare is so wonderful why arent Dems promoting it in their home districts during their recess?

http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/N31244813.htm
“Representative Dan Lungren, a California Republican running for re-election in a district carried by Obama in 2008, planned to tell his constituents that healthcare reform is important, but Obama’s overhaul was not the way to fix the ailing system.

“Too much costs, too much taxes, too much government, too much debt,” Lungren told Reuters. “It’s another typical over-promise by the federal government. It’s not going to go away and its not going to be the sole issue in the election but it’s the best example of the direction this president wants to take the country.”

Answer: bottom lines is because they are true believers of Progressive Liberal Socialism as described in Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky,

it is obvious from the votes that the Progressive Liberal Socialist Democrats either 1) took an immediate payoff or bribe 2) were blackmailed for former bad acts or votes 3) received promise for future payoff aka Stupak 11 with $15 Billion earmarks the week after, 4) Socialist true believer in the “greater good” of “wealth distribution” (no kidding a few said those words) 5) really incredibly stupid

which means basically there are NO Pro-Life Democrats, there are NO-conservative Democrats, the are NO Democrats that love the U.S. Constitution which means for all intents and purposes a Progressive = Liberal = Socialist = Democrat just as Freddy Engels and Karl Marx predicted.
