Question: Looking for a chart/graph of federal income tax rates over the last few decades?
I’ve been searching the internets for a chart or graph showing the federal income tax rates over time, and not having much success. I’ve found a few charts dealing with the highest and lowest brackets, but what I’m interested in are the middle brackets. Can anyone help me out?

Question: Whose tax plan is better for 80% of American families? Obama’s or McCain’s?
Because according to the Tax Policy Institute, Obama’s plan would cut taxes for 80% of households. Another 10% would see no change in their taxes from today. And the wealthiest 10% would see an increase in their taxes. Furthermore, Obama’s plan would save middle-income families more than with McCain’s.
Here’s a chart from the Washington Post comparing Obama’s plan with McCain’s:

Barack Obama has pledged as such in his recent speech in Dover, NH (go to time 1:05 in the video):
Answer: Leftist refuse to understand that 250 K number also applies to business. Small business runs America. So, when they get slammed with a 10 to 15 point tax hike how do you suppose they will pay for it?
Layoffs and huge price increases. How is that good for the economy and for the American people.
The unemployment rate under Bush is the lowest its been in decades. Lower taxes and it creates jobs and gives money to the people to spend.
Raise taxes and it cuts jobs and gives the money to the Government to waist on endless feel good social programs that benefit few.
