Question: When should we expect a tax return for the state of CA?

My question is how long did it take for some of you to receive your CA tax refund for this year? I filed my taxes 3 weeks ago and on Friday I received my federal jut not state. Under my conformation from turbo tax there was a little note stating

“Note: The California Franchise Tax Board has instituted a refund delay due to the state’s budget situation, but will begin processing refunds as soon as funds allow.”

Answer: We e-filed our CA return on 03/02, and finally rec’d an authorization of the refund on 03/21, but it will still be approx. 10 more days before $$ is direct deposited ( and it’s probably 10 business days )
