Federal Tax Revenues Chart

Question: Is our federal revenue really that high relatively, compared to GDP? Are Bush’s tax cuts working?
I was wondering about this… and oddly enough, the Heritage Foundation had just what I was looking for… go figure…

why were Clinton’s revenues so much higher, adjusted for GDP… if tax cuts are a miracle cure and Clinton didn’t cut taxes? odd?
Answer: Because personal income rose at a greater rate during Clinton’s term.
