Question: Has anyone ordered a prepaid card online and received their tax refund before the card came?
I’m a tax preparer and I’m going to start ordering my clients prepaid cards. I wanted to know for the ones who opt to have it put on a prepaid card, what will happen if my clients get their tax refund before the card? Once they activate it will it be available to them? How does that work?
Answer: I work for TFG Card Solutions. We offer an Instant Issue Visa -branded prepaid debit card. Your clients have their card when they walk out of your office AND for those clients who are relying on their tax return to pay you (i.e. they don’t have the money up front), you can split the deposit to your account and the remainder of their funds on their card.
