Question: 2005 US tax software, Any known spyware issues this year?
With the new year comes tax season in the US. TurboTax and TaxCut are the two major Tax Preparation Software apps (although there are others). Both have had spyware and privacy issues in the past. The issues were enough to make me steer clear of both of them past few years. Does anyone know if there issues with either program this year? Is it safe to return or should I stick with TaxAct?
Answer: If you would like to know more about the programs and if any malware is present in them then you should read the User License Agreement and Privacy Policy, especially the parts about Third Party Services.
