Question: Filing a past tax years return online?HMRC UK?
Due to an accident I failed to file a tax return for the year 06-07. How can I now file it on line?
I can not find anywhere on the HMRC website to do it unless I buy commercial software.
I know I do not have a lot to pay as I wasn’t able to work half of that year I do however realise that I will have a fine and interest to pay but to be honest after 2 months in hospital it was the least of my worries
Answer: It is probably past the deadline to fill it in on-line. The best thing to do is to phone them up and ask them for a form.
