Question: Why can citizen not vote on important government issues online.?
Why in this day and age of internet banking, can we not have an online voting system, with registered voters? We can do our taxes online, we can pay bill online, but we cannot vote online. I understand the security risks, but major issues can be voted on by the grass roots of the country, leaving politician with no option but to answer why or why not to the issue at hand.
Answer: the problem is…people might get someone’s internet connection and vote for what they want, and hackers could make all votes for their issue
