Question: Is there a free software THAT CALCULATE of income tax for business class in India for A.Y 2009-10?
Answer: ITR-4 ereturn form available at the website of Income Tax department is useless. It will not calculate everything like the interest payable on the tax due.
I have tried Winman’s Saral Tax and did my work within its demo valied period. It is very good. But it costs about Rs.5000 for ereturns and Rs.2600 for paper return. I have not purchased it but I tried the demo version.

Few free softwares are available but they are not useful to file returns. They are useless.
