The Federal reserve is out of control. Yesterday the Fed devalued the dollar and everyone’s life savings by announcing that they are pumping more money that they will create of out thin air into mortgages, and everything else to the tune of $1+ trillion

This caused the dollar to fall sharply against the Euro and other currencies, and gold to rise again. Oil is back over $50/barrel

Printing gigantic amounts of new money always leads to inflation…the Fed used to do it secretly hoping no one would notice but yesterday they had the guts to tell the whole world about it.

Yet I hear more folks screaming about the AIG bonuses than their devalued life savings. $165 million in bonuses is nothing compared to the inflation tax of printing $1 trillion out of thin air.

Answer: It’s all smoke and mirrors. Let the people be outraged at one thing we did so we can distract them from how we’re going to screw them over next. Politics as usual.
