I reached UK on 2nd of October 2008 from India for permanent employment. Till september 2008 my company deducted tax from my salary. In UK the new company also deducted tax from my salary on regular basis from October 2008 till March 2009.

Does the income I earned in UK from Oct 2008 till March 2009 is to be disclosed in India for income tax. Am I required to pay more tax in India because of my earnings in UK.
